I’m looking to keep my kid active while learning at home especially as we go into the rainy season. We have a small indoor trampoline he uses but I’d like to know what other parents are doing.

I just joined a bowling league with my daughter. We have to wear masks while we are bowling, but I figure that will keep us active in the winter and through the rain!

That’s definately a great idea, thank you.

How’s the separation at the bowling lanes? Do they block off lanes? Like, every other lane?

Super interesting! So, what they have done is one team bowls on a pair of lanes at a time. They have one team come in early at 5 and the other team at 7 so literally you are bowling on a pair of lanes with one team! Creative and you have to wear your mask the whole time while you bowl!

Ugh, PE and distance learning are the pits. However, It was so awful it encouraged me to finally just do the homeschool route. Well, sort of, I enrolled in a public online academy. They sent books, yes actual books, laptop and printer, with school work I can guide them through around my WFH life. Distance learning program had actually asked my daughter to do four 5 minute videos and film herself doing them. That is just too wild. So she needed two devices to make that happen?? We are now doing daily activities like playing at park when its sunny, dancing, yoga, even riding bikes and it counts. Still lots of work on my part as the parent. SOOOO much work, but I can actually make it work around the demands of life.
