Seeking answers on how to help our kids

A Time for Families: Weekly Drop-in Discussion Hour
Supporting our kids with mental health or addiction challenges can be a hard and painful road, and our search for treatment can feel like a dead end. In a new weekly drop-in discussion hour, families can now consult with OHA Child and Family Behavioral Health representatives. Parents and family members can present their questions and concerns about services for children and young people who experience mental health or addiction concerns. It is also an opportunity for a discussion about suggestions for OHA to support youth, young adults and their families getting the right service at the right time for the duration needed. The calls are hosted by the Director of Child and Family Behavioral Health, Chelsea Holcomb, and the Family Partnership Specialist, Frances Purdy. Representatives from Reach Out Oregon are also there to follow-up with specific immediate concerns.
