Typically holidays tend to stress me out and become more challenging then this magical experience… thanks to Covid we have slowed things down and really stay to ourselves and I have discovered the holidays tend to be more enjoyable this way…..
However, some of traditions are now a thing in the past (and I am loving that) but yearning for new traditions as the children are not getting any younger…what are some of your family traditions???
My favorite one we will never stop doing is-driving into town and getting peppermint hot chocolate from a local coffee place and driving around the town looking for Christmas lights…. no matter the weather I always find a way to make this happen!!!
I love the way you describe the way slowing things down really helps you guys enjoy the holidays! One thing we do is add to our Christmas music playlist every year. Considering how many hours we play songs and carols, it’s definitely necessary to update. We use Spotify to search for playlists for new ideas.
I keep hearing about Spotify and honestly love this idea. My kids love music and love Christmas music… such a fun tradition
My sisters kind of killed holiday music for me. They are one of those individuals who play the same song over, and over, and over, and over again until it drives you bonkers!
