Steps you can take to get compensatory education for your child
Our Know Your Rights resource also details the steps you should take if you’d like to request compensatory education for your child.
Step 1 – Contact the school district
Step 2 – The IEP meeting
Step 3 – Make sure the decision is in writing
And we include a sample letter for you to use when requesting compensatory education from the School District Special Education Director for your child.
